Right in the heart of West Campus, the Student Wellness Center is located at 305 Towerview Dr. If you are driving for an appointment, please park in the Bryan Center Parking Garage.

Student Health

When you aren’t feeling the best physically, Student Health is the place to go. It is conveniently located on the 2nd Floor of the Student Wellness Center at 305 Towerview Road, next to Penn Pavilion. The phone number for is (919) 681-WELL.

Counseling and Psychological Services

Counseling and Psychological Services, or CAPS, provides a range of counseling and psychological services.  The psychologists, clinical social workers, and psychiatrists employed by CAPS can be a comforting resource at the University. CAPS is located on West Campus, on the First Floor of the Duke Student Wellness Center, 305 Towerview Drive and can be reached at (919) 660-1000.

Dental Office

Duke’s Dental Care Team is made up of an experienced group of licensed professionals who are committed to providing the Duke community with the highest quality dental care available. Open to all Duke Students. The Dental Office is located on the first floor of the Student Wellness Center at 305 Towerview, next to Penn Pavilion in Campus Center. The fastest way to schedule an appointment is to call 1-919-296-1212 or email DukeDentist@campus-smiles.com.

Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion

Fitness at Duke

As a Duke student, you automatically become a member of several campus gyms. Duke Recreation & Physical is home to two recreational facilities, Wilson Center on West Campus and Brodie Center on East Campus. Aquatics facilities include Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion at Wilson and Brodie Pool at Brodie. You may use your Duke I.D. card for admission whenever the Wilson or Brodie gyms are open.

Wilson Recreation Center

The Wilson Recreation Center is the nicest and largest gym at Duke University. It is located on West Campus, at 330 Towerview Rd. It contains basketball courts (as does the neighboring Card Gymnasium), aerobic exercise machines, a weight room, a swimming pool, a spinning area, indoor rock climbing wall, saunas, and other multipurpose rooms in which various physical education classes are held (some for free). There is also a juice bar that has energy bars, protein shakes, and fruit. Outside of Wilson, there are also indoor and outdoor tennis courts. Remember to bring your Duke Card to enter Wilson.

Brodie Recreation Center

The Brodie Recreation Center is the older, smaller gym on campus, located on East Campus. Brodie also has basketball courts, a smaller swimming pool, a weight room, and some aerobic exercise machines and multipurpose rooms in which classes are held. Several tennis courts are located outside. As always, you must have your Duke Card to enter.
