Git Real : Collaborating with Git & GitHub

Everything You Wanted To Know About Collaborating Using Git and GitHub But Were Afraid to Ask!

Interested in learning how to use Git and GitHub to manage collaborations? Curious what this whole GitHub thing is actually about? Join us for a three-part, zero-prior-knowledge-required workshop series led by Nick Eubank, faculty director in the Duke Master in Interdisciplinary Data Science (MIDS) program.

Participants will be introduced to the command line (promise — it’s not as scary as it sounds!), Git, and GitHub, and learn how these tools can streamline professional collaborations, improve research reproducibility, and open the door to a wide range of resources and workflows used across academia and industry.

The sessions build on one another, so participants must attend the sessions that precede any later session.
