Jichun Xie is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics whose research sits at the intersection of statistics, machine learning, bioinformatics, and genetics and genomics. Her work develops computational and statistical methods for analyzing complex, high-throughput sequencing data in cancer and immunology.
Xie also collaborates on electronic health record (EHR) data and longitudinal studies, developing methods to compare health outcomes and treatment approaches. She enjoys working across disciplines and involving students in real-world research projects, giving students opportunities to apply statistical and machine learning methods to challenging biomedical data.
