Derek Wales is a Senior Solutions Architect at Virtualitics, where he supports the development and deployment of AI solutions for mission-critical applications. A Duke Master in Interdisciplinary Data Science (MIDS) alumnus, Derek brings a unique blend of technical expertise, product leadership, and military experience to his work in artificial intelligence. Previously, he held AI Solutions Architect and Senior Product Manager roles at Dell Technologies and served as a Data Scientist with the U.S. Postal Service following a decade-long career as an Army Officer. Derek is passionate about helping organizations leverage emerging technologies to solve complex challenges and build impactful solutions.
