Olanrewaju Michael Akande completed his Ph.D. in Statistical Science at Duke University. His research areas include Bayesian modeling, models for editing erroneous data, multiple imputation, missing data, mixture models, and hierarchical modeling.

His research focuses particularly on developing Bayesian models for imputing missing data and editing erroneous responses in surveys. He received his BSc in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Lagos, Nigeria, and his MS in Statistical and Economic Modeling from Duke.
