Kate Coulter (Technology Director, Delaware Democratic Party) is an experienced professional with a robust background in data analysis, technology management, and project coordination. She was part of the inaugural MIDS cohort and recently recognized as one of the Top 50 Women Leaders of Delaware for 2025.
Coulter is a socially-driven data scientist who is passionate about people and leveraging data to advance society. Before joining the Delaware Democratic Party, she was a data visualization and assessment analyst at the University of Delaware. Before that, she was a project manager at Duke University. Earlier in her career, she worked with Disney Sports/ESPN Wide World of Sports as an event manager.
With a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Data Science from Duke University and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and Political Science from Stetson University, she has successfully led various projects at institutions like Duke University School of Law and Feeding Children Everywhere, showcasing a commitment to data-driven decision-making and impactful organizational management. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kate is entering her tenth year as an alumnae advisor with Pi Beta Phi, mentoring college students and fostering leadership development among young women.
