Before joining academia, Shen held senior risk management and data analytics roles at China Ping An Bank, China Minsheng Bank, Wells Fargo, and American Express. He has also advised the People’s Bank of China, the Chinese Bank Association, and China’s Credit Bureau Center. His research has been published in leading journals including Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, and Management Science.
